Yemen's Houthis claimed a drone strike on a Tel Aviv target

Rocket troops of Yemen's Ansar Allah movement (Houthis) launched an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) attack on a target located in the city of Tel Aviv. Yahya Saria, a spokesman for the movement's armed forces, said on December 19.
"Unmanned aerial vehicle units of the Yemeni Armed Forces struck a specific Israeli target near Jaffa (Tel Aviv) using a drone," the spokesman said in a message on his Telegram channel.
He also specified that the Houthis will stop their attacks the moment Israel 's aggression in the Gaza Strip stops.
Earlier, on December 16, it was reported that the Yemeni Houthis struck a hypersonic ballistic missile at a military facility near Tel Aviv. As a result of the successful operation, all targets were achieved.
Before that, on December 13, it was reported that the Houthis intensified strikes on Israel after the ceasefire in Lebanon. Thus, a few days ago, the Houthis launched strikes using 16 ballistic and cruise missiles and drones.
On December 10, the movement repeated the attacks on US ships in the Gulf of Aden. In addition, strikes have also been carried out deep into Israeli territory.
The Houthis began striking ships in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden last November to protest Israeli actions in the Gaza Strip. On the night of Jan. 12, in response to their actions, the U.S. and Britain launched an attack on Houthi targets in Yemen. The White House said the strikes on movement-controlled areas of the country were defensive in nature. It was also claimed at the time that the strikes were carried out to protect international vessels.
