An outbreak of intestinal infection has been recorded in a country hotel in Omsk, signs of the disease are observed in 25 people. This was reported by a source of "Izvestia" on December 19.

According to the interlocutor, nine children are among the victims.

Fifteen people were hospitalized, including four minors. Another 10 adults and five children are treated on an outpatient basis.

At the end of November in the Altai region died seven guests of the private social service center "Rubicon" in the village of Kalistratikha, suffered another 24 people. It was noted that the dead and injured recorded signs of poisoning. Later it was reported that the incident was related to an acute intestinal infection. The patients were diagnosed with "acute infectious gastroenterocolitis".

The head of the social center was arrested for two months. The man was charged with a crime under part 3 of article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Provision of services that do not meet safety requirements"). His wife said that the infection could have been brought in by one of the guests, adding that her husband was on a business trip at the time of the incident.
