Survey shows one third of Russians reluctant to buy cars online


More than a third of Russians have not purchased a new car on marketplaces and do not plan to use this way of buying a car. This was reported on December 19 by the analytical agency "Avtostat" based on the results of the survey, which was attended by more than 3 thousand respondents.
Thus, 36.3% of respondents would not like to buy a car on marketplaces. The majority of respondents (61.6%) also stated that they did not buy cars on marketplaces, but are loyal to the purchase without test drives, personal inspection and communication with managers of car dealerships. Another 1% of survey participants found it difficult to answer.
Now, both Lada cars and Chinese models, including Chery, Jetour, Changan, Haval and other brands, are available for order on various marketplaces.
Earlier in the day, Chinese concern Sinomach presented in Russia a premium SUV Rox 01. The model will be offered in a seven-seat version at a price from 9.17 million rubles and in a six-seat version for 9.38 million rubles.
It was also reported on Thursday that BAIC plans to introduce three new models of the BJ off-road lineup in Russia in 2025. It is already known that the full-size frame BAIC BJ60 will debut early next year. It will be the second model of the off-road series after the BJ40.
