Gladkov reported on the AFU attack on Belgorod region

Ukrainian troops have attacked Belgorod Region again, carrying out attacks in different districts. According to preliminary reports from the region's governor, Vyacheslav Gladkov, on December 19, there were no casualties, but there were numerous injuries.

He noted that over Belgorod, a Russian air defense (air defense) system shot down a drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).

"As a result of its wreckage falling in the parking lot of a social facility, seven cars were damaged. Also in one of the buildings the glazing and door were damaged," the governor pointed out in his Telegram channel.

In Shebekinsky district in the farm Balki after the arrival of the shell the windows in two private houses were broken out, roofs, fences and outbuildings were sliced.

"In the village of Dvuluchnoye, Valuysky District, an FPV drone detonated near a private house - windows were blown out and a fence was cut. A nearby parked passenger car had its windows blown out and its body sliced," Gladkov added.

Information about the consequences is being clarified. Operational services are working.

Earlier on December 19, Gladkov said that as a result of attacks by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the AFU in Belgorod region over the past day several residential houses, cars and the body of an agricultural enterprise were damaged. He specified that the strikes also damaged a passenger car in Babka farm in Valui district and the roof of one of the buildings of an agricultural enterprise in the village of Pyatnitskoye, Volokonovsk district.

Before that, on December 18, Gladkov reported that AFU drones attacked two settlements in the Shebekinsky district of Belgorod Region, and a person was injured as a result of the strikes.

The AFU is trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the beginning of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
