The sale of 4 thousand units of counterfeit tobacco products was stopped in Vladivostok

Illegal sale of 4 thousand vapes, nicotine-containing liquids and tobacco mixtures without excise stamps was prevented in Vladivostok. This was reported in the press service of the Interior Ministry on Thursday, December 19.

Law enforcement authorities found a large batch of unlabeled electronic cigarettes and nicotine-containing products in a commercial establishment on Snegovaya Street.

"As a result of the inspection of the premises, including the counters, the police seized from illegal circulation a large number of various vape and liquids with nicotine for them, as well as many packs of tobacco mixtures for hookahs, which do not have excise taxes. In total, police officers seized four thousand units of these products", - stated in the message in the Telegram-channel.

On this fact is being checked. The question of initiating administrative proceedings under part 4 of article 15.12 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation is being decided.

The man sold products in the regional center. It was specified that during searches in warehouses, in the garage and in the car in which the tobacco was transported, 47 thousand packs of cigarettes were found and seized. The total value is Br1 million.
