The Governor of the Saratov region instructed to solve the issues on issuance of subsidized medicines

On December 19, the Governor of the Saratov region Roman Busargin instructed the Ministry of Health of the region to deal with the problems with the organization of timely issuance of subsidized medicines in the region.

During the direct line of Russian President Vladimir Putin, Vitaly Mayorov, a resident of Atkarsk, Saratov Region, who has diabetes, pointed out a problem concerning the issue of insulin and test strips in the region.

Busargin then indicated in a message in his Telegram channel that the timely issuance of discounted medicines is the task of the regional Ministry of Health. He confirmed the words of Putin, who during the press conference said that all the necessary drugs are available. Busargin noted that the case with Mayorov is a shortcoming of specialized structures, noting that the resident of the region will be provided with drugs as soon as possible under the personal control of the governor.

"The Minister of Health is tasked to go to Atkarsky district, to sort out the situation and make organizational decisions so that there will be no more such problems with the issuance of medicines. Such failures are unacceptable in matters of providing vital drugs," Busargin wrote in his Telegram channel.

In addition, the governor of the region instructed to conduct a detailed analysis and inspection of the organization, which produces the issuance of subsidized drugs throughout the region.
