In France, Dominique Pelico, who allowed his wife to be raped, was given 20 years in prison

A French court sentenced Dominique Pelico to 20 years in prison for drugging his wife for 10 years and sexually assaulting the woman together with other men. This was reported by French television channel France 24 on December 19.

The court declared 72-year-old Dominique Pelico guilty of aggravated rape of his wife Giselle Pelico. The man will not be able to apply for parole until he serves 2/3 of the sentence.

The court also convicted 50 other men whom Pelico invited to his home for the purpose of raping his wife.

During the period of prolonged abuse and sleeping pills, Giselle Pelico's health deteriorated, memory lapses appeared, and her hair began to fall out.

In September 2020, Pelico was arrested for attempting to take photos of girls under their skirts. After seizing the equipment from him, law enforcement officers found a video of the rape of Peliko's wife.

Earlier, on December 11, in the Krasnoyarsk region, the court sentenced a 46-year-old local resident Vladislav Kharlashin to life imprisonment in a special regime colony for abusing a nine-year-old girl. Taking advantage of the child's helpless state, he committed violence and recorded everything on his phone.
