The DNR promised to speed up the process of pension recalculation

The process of recalculation of pensions and confirmation of work experience in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) will be accelerated. This was announced by the head of the region Denis Pushilin on December 19.

Earlier in the day, Russian President Vladimir Putin during the "Results of the year", responding to the appeal of a pensioner from Donetsk, who can not receive a pension because he lost his work record book in a fire, instructed the leadership of the Republic to speed up the process.

Pushilin noted that he instructed colleagues from the Social Fund and participants of the interdepartmental commission to solve such issues in the first place.

"The process of recalculation of pensions and confirmation of the length of service in the Republic will be accelerated," - wrote the head of the region in his Telegram-channel.

He also emphasized that the authorities should "without red tape" to help the residents of the DNR, who were affected by the hostilities.

Earlier, on November 30, Putin signed the law on the budget of the Pension and Social Insurance Fund for 2025-2027, according to which the social pension will be indexed by 14.75%. After indexation, its size from April 1, 2025 will be 15,456 rubles. In addition, insurance pensions will be increased by 7.3% from January 1, 2025.

Prior to that, November 24, the President signed a law to increase the period of payment of funded pensions for 2025 to 22.5 years. The law will come into force on January 1, 2025.

At the same time, a member of the Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans Affairs Svetlana Bessarab said that in Russia from January 1, 2025 will increase pensions for working and non-working citizens of the country.
