An expert spoke about the prospects for the implementation of Grozny's master plan


The implementation of Grozny's development strategy until 2035 will allow the city to increase the tourist flow, stimulate the development of small and medium-sized businesses, and create new jobs, Yulia Zubarik, the author of Grozny's master plan and general director of the city planning bureau Masters Plan, told Izvestia on December 19.
"The authorities of the Chechen Republic are making Grozny a business, educational and tourist center of the North Caucasus," she specified.
According to her, the city's development strategy until 2035 includes 24 investment projects of different orientation - from the development of housing and transportation to the creation of an inter-university campus. And their realization will allow to increase the tourist flow and stimulate the development of small and medium-sized businesses, increase the level of employment, create new jobs and improve the quality of the urban environment. In addition, it will lead to a reduction in migration outflow.
"The implementation of the master plan will significantly raise the standard of living in Grozny and provide the young population with quality education and jobs," Zubarik specified.
She noted that one of the key tasks of the master plan is to reduce the city's budgetary dependence on federal subsidies and increase the investment attractiveness of the capital of the Chechen Republic.
Earlier in the day, Russian President Vladimir Putin called Grozny a modern Russian miracle during the "Results of the Year". The head of state also pointed out that in addition to beautiful mosques, new structures, buildings and architectural solutions have appeared in the city in recent years, which evoke a sense of pride in what has been done in Chechnya and Grozny.
