Three people were injured due to a burst pipe with boiling water in St. Petersburg

On December 19 on Turku Street in St. Petersburg there was a burst pipe with hot water, as a result of which one adult and two minors were injured. This was reported by the press service of the Investigative Committee (IC) of the region in Telegram.

"As a result of the incident, three local residents, including two minors, went to medical institutions for medical care with burns of varying severity," - stated in the publication.

The Investigative Committee of the Frunzensky district opened a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under part 1 of article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (provision of services that do not meet safety requirements).

The investigator conducted an inspection of the scene. At the moment they are talking to the victims and eyewitnesses of the incident.
