Crimean carriers asked to increase the cost of transport fares

The Association of Automobile Carriers of the Republic addressed the Public Chamber of Crimea. It proposed to index fares on public transport.
The Association's representative Zinoviy Dudchak, whose words are quoted by SevastopolMedia news agency, said that fare prices have not changed since 2022, while fuel and spare parts have gone up in price.
The Public Chamber supported the initiative. If the changes are adopted, the cost of travel in the city will cost 30 rubles when paying by card and 35 rubles - in cash. The organization also suggested the carriers to improve the quality of service, as now it causes complaints from local residents.
Earlier it was reported that in Khabarovsk the carrier was brought to administrative responsibility for overestimating the cost of travel in public transport. The complaint came from the prosecutor's office on the results of the inspection of compliance with the legislation on state regulation of prices. The agency demanded that the fare be charged in accordance with the established tariffs.
