"Conversations about important" on December 23 - the theme of the lesson
The theme of the new lesson is labeled as: "One country - one traditions". The purpose of the lesson is to expand students' knowledge of the history and culture of the peoples of Russia by the example of New Year holidays, as well as to contribute to the strengthening of family traditions and the role of the family in the preservation and transmission of traditional values.
During the lesson the children will learn how many times the inhabitants of our country can celebrate the New Year, what unites the dates of September 1 and January 1, what are the names of the main winter magicians and what symbol of the country announces the onset of the New Year. The pupils will also have to tell how the celebration is celebrated in their family and summarize the results of the past year.
Interactive games and watching thematic videos will help to master the theme of the lesson. The lesson will last 30 minutes. Methodological materials and recommendations are published on the project website.

In grades 1-2 the lesson will begin with a discussion of a poem about the New Year. Afterwards, first graders will recall popular New Year songs and poems. In continuation, the teacher will organize work with the interactive map "New Year is walking across the country", which will expand the children's understanding of New Year traditions of the peoples of Russia.
The lesson in grades 3-4 will be supplemented by a story about New Year traditions of the past. Pupils will be transported to the end of the XVIII century and decorate a Christmas tree of that time. Then they will tell about their family relics - Christmas tree toys and other attributes of the celebration, which their parents and grandparents used to decorate the house with when they were children.
Pupils of grades 5-7 will remember which of the New Year's heroes celebrates their birthday on November 18, using the teacher's clue, and name as many words related to the New Year as possible. The children will also watch fragments of the cartoon "Ded Moroz and Summer" and the movie "The New Year Adventures of Masha and Vitya".
In grades 8-9 the children will have to think about what New Year traditions unite all the inhabitants of Russia and what gift does not require financial expenses, but remains the most precious for loved ones during the holiday. The conversation will continue with a story about people whose professions do not allow them to celebrate the New Year with their families. The children will offer their options to help them feel the New Year's atmosphere.
Pupils of 10-11th grades and college students will summarize the results of the outgoing year. They will tell what they remembered about the year 2024, what events were the brightest for them and what successes they managed to achieve. The class will also be a great opportunity to thank any of their classmates for their support and help. A separate interactive task "New Year - Time to Say Thank You" is provided for this purpose.
