Mayonnaise is among the products whose consumption should be limited. About this nutritionist, nutriciologist Sofia Kovanova told on Thursday, December 19. She also broke down the composition of this sauce.

"Mayonnaise contains a large amount of trans fats, cholesterol, fat-soluble vitamins and vitamins B", - said the expert in conversation with aif.ru.

According to the nutritionist, mayonnaise can be useful for those who do not eat cheese, beef or eggs, as it contains vitamins E and K, as well as omegas 3-6-9. These substances have positive effects on hormonal status, skin and heart health.

"On average, a healthy person can eat 20-30 g of mayonnaise a day, which corresponds to one tablespoon or two teaspoons," Kovanova specified.
