Dodon declared a pre-revolutionary situation in Moldova

Moldova is in a pre-revolutionary situation. This was stated by the country's former president Igor Dodon on December 19.
"Moldova is in a pre-revolutionary situation. It is obvious that this power is unable to cope with anything, and people no longer want this power," he wrote in his Telegram channel.
The former president added that the protests in the country will only grow, so he calls for protests without slogans and flags so that the current government realizes its incompetence. Igor Dodon assumes that in the near future the whole country will come out to protests.
Earlier, on October 31, the Moldovan opposition staged a protest outside the Constitutional Court against the recognition of the results of the referendum on accession to the European Union. The protesters included representatives of the opposition Victory bloc and the Party of Communists.
On October 20, Moldova held a referendum on the country's European integration and presidential elections among 11 candidates. Only nine of Moldova's 36 districts voted in favor of changing the constitution for the sake of joining the EU, while in Gagauzia more than 90% of those who voted were against European integration. On 25 October, the Moldovan Central Electoral Commission recognized the referendum as valid, approved its final results and sent them to the country's Constitutional Court for approval.
