Putin called for employment assistance for military personnel involved in the SVOs

Russian military personnel injured during a special military operation are willing and able to continue working, they should be assisted in finding employment. This was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin during the "Results of the Year" on December 19.

"I was recently in the rehabilitation center. I looked, there are guys with serious injuries, someone without a leg and without an arm. But you know what I want to say: their eyes are burning, they want, are ready to work actively, and they can do it," he said.

In addition, Putin drew attention to the fact that many participants of the "Time of Heroes" program have received job offers and are already working in production. Some have become heads of regions, he added.

"On the first set (under the program. - Ed.) work is still ongoing, but many have already received offers, many are already working, some have even been appointed as heads of regions, which I am very happy about," the Russian leader said.

Earlier, on October 31, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said that the employment contract for the entire period of military service under contract will be suspended for the participants of the SWO. He added that guarantees to the spouses of special operation participants would also be extended.
