Putin refused to include Ukrainian call centers in priority targets

It is not worth spending shells on fraudulent call centers in Ukraine and putting them on the list of priority targets. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin on December 19 during the "Results of the Year".
"No. We have military facilities and facilities of the military-industrial complex on the list of priority targets. There may be decision-making centers," Putin said when asked whether Ukrainian call centers should be included in the list of priority targets.
Such facilities, according to the president, are not worth spending ammunition on. Decisions should be made to fight fraudsters inside Russia, and this should be done by responsible agencies, such as the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, the government and the country's internal affairs bodies.
Dmitry Kulko, co-host of the "Results of the Year with Vladimir Putin," noted that calls from Ukrainian fraudsters stop after strikes on Ukrainian energy facilities. The President, commenting on this, said that call centers lacked electricity.
Earlier, on December 10, Putin said that phone fraud has been elevated to the rank of Kiev's state policy. Attackers often act under the control of state bodies and structures. The President added that he would draw the attention of the Prosecutor General's Office to the problem of Ukrainian fraudsters and offer to consider proposals to combat them.
The direct line with Vladimir Putin in 2024 is combined with a press conference for the media. The format called "Results of the Year with Vladimir Putin" allows the president to convey his position not only on citizens' issues, but also on the state and world agenda, which is often asked by journalists.
Representatives of Western media and foreign journalists accredited in Russia have also received invitations to the events.
As of the morning of December 19, the number of appeals sent to the direct line with the President exceeded 2 million.
