The Victory Museum completed the III International Festival of Right Cinema. The film forum was held in three stages, which started in May, June and September 2024. Film screenings were held at the sites of museums - participants of the International Project "Territory of Victory", members of the Association of Historical and Military History Museums, as well as the "School Museum of Victory" program.
Nearly 2.6 thousand museums, educational and cultural institutions from 73 regions of Russia, as well as Abkhazia and Belarus took part in the Festival.
"The main goal of the festival is to promote traditional values among a wide audience, introducing viewers to new films and their creators. The central venue of the festival was the cinema of the Victory Museum, where the awarding ceremony of the winners took place on May 10, 2024. The winners in the nominations "Debut", "Best Director", "Best Documentary", "Best Short Film", "Best Animated Film", "Best Script", "Heroes of Our Time" and others were named. The Grand Prix of the competition was awarded to the Kyrgyz drama "Paradise under the feet of mothers". The movie is based on a story about the power of a mother's love for her son. In total, the competition received more than 140 applications, 33 films from Russia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, China, Serbia and other countries were selected for participation. And the inhabitants of our country had a unique opportunity to watch the best domestic and foreign pictures. The spectators saw 76 documentary and animated full-length, as well as short films. In total the Victory Museum organized more than 6,6 thousand film screenings, which gathered more than 220 thousand people", - told the head of the cinema "Poklonka" of the Victory Museum Lara Pomykanova.
Residents of the regions saw the tapes "History of the city. Rzhev", "Gagarin. Life in the chronicle of TASS", "Blockade. Always with me", "Secrets of the night witches" and others. Especially for young viewers the organizers prepared a children's animated film "The Secret Room". Among the most active regions, where the most screenings took place, are Stavropol, Krasnodar and Perm Territories, Lugansk People's Republic, Udmurt Republic and many others.
