Hybrid SUV Rox 01 presented in Russia

Chinese concern Sinomach has introduced in Russia a premium SUV Rox 01. The model will be offered in a seven-seat version priced from 9.17 million rubles and in a six-seat version for 9.38 million rubles. This is stated in the message of the automaker, which was received by Izvestia on December 19. In a special version of the Black Edition SUV will cost 60-70 thousand rubles more expensive.

The company said that with the start of official sales in Russia, Rox will implement a system of control over cars not intended for the local market. If such cars are detected outside China, all three screens in the cabin (12.3-inch display for the driver, 15.7-inch center screen and 15.6-inch display for the second row of seats) will be disabled.

In this case, the system will issue a notice recommending contacting the brand's authorized dealers, and unlocking will only be possible by contacting the manufacturer's China office. Cars imported to Russia until December 2024 will not be blocked.

Sinomach specified that the company will set up the supply of spare parts for the Rox in Russia, the official warranty on the cars for five years, and the battery for eight years. The cars will be sold through the Oting dealer network. The number of car dealerships is planned to increase from 32 to 80 in 2025. The importer and distributor of the cars is Hyperion Leasing (Tianjin), a subsidiary of China's Sinomach.

All-wheel drive Rox 01 is equipped with a hybrid powertrain with a 1.5-liter internal combustion engine and two electric motors, the power is 476 hp, acceleration to a hundred takes 5.5 seconds. The total range reaches 1,300 km, and the average fuel consumption is 7.95 liters per 100 km.
