The demographic situation in Chechnya and Tuva is fine, and these regions can only say thank you. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin during the "Results of the Year" on December 19.

"Everything is fine with demography, it is so - both in Chechnya and Tuva. We have two subjects of the federation where everything is normal. In this regard, the question is: "Do we need to do anything additional?" - I can only say thank you, support them and set an example for the rest of us," the Russian leader emphasized.

Putin added that for about 35 regions, where the birth rate is below 1.41%, it is necessary to develop a separate support program with a funding volume of 75 billion rubles.
