"You said that BRICS is developing as a tool to counter the West. This is not true, you are mistaken. We are not working against anyone, we are working for our own interests, for the interests of the member states," Putin said, answering a question from Tatar-Inform journalist Artur Khalilullov.

"We are not creating the BRICS headquarters. There are separate structures that are created and work in the interests of all the organization.
