The Arbitration Court of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region has obliged the State Academic Mariinsky Theater to carry out restoration work on Princess Shakhovskaya's house. This follows from the case card.

Within five years, the theater must repair the load-bearing structures of the building on Sadovaya Street, as well as roofs, facade and courtyard facades, and interior premises. The suit was filed by the Committee for State Control, Use and Protection of Historical and Cultural Monuments.

The house, where Mikhail Lermontov lived in 1836-1837, has the status of the object of cultural heritage of regional importance.

Earlier, on November 22, it was reported about the continuation of restoration of the Church of Nikola of Usokhi in Pskov, which is a monument of cultural history of federal significance, included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
