Putin urged to check payments to participants of the KTO in Kursk region

All military personnel involved in special operations should receive the payments they are due. This was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin during the "Results of the Year" on December 19.

The President indicated that if the special operation fighters are moved to Kursk region, where the counter-terrorist operation (CTO) regime is still in place, they should receive payments in full.

"We will correct everything, everyone will receive what is due to servicemen who fulfill their duty to the Motherland on the line of contact. We will recalculate and retroactively. Obligatorily, there is no doubt," said the head of state.

Back in early November, Putin, in his congratulatory message to the Council for the Development of Civil Society and Human Rights on its 20th anniversary , noted that control over the observance of the rights of special operation participants and their families is the most important area of the structure's activities.

The AFU attacked Russian positions in the border areas of Kursk Region on August 6. The situation in the region was recognized as a federal emergency. Ukrainian militants who invaded the Russian territory are being liquidated.
