Putin promised to rebuild housing and infrastructure in Kursk region

Russian President Vladimir Putin said on December 19 during the "Results of the Year" that all facilities, housing and infrastructure in Kursk region will be restored.

He promised that specialists will repair road networks, utility infrastructure, social facilities, housing and much more. Certificates for rebuilding houses will also be issued.

"To those who want to move, we will help to move to other regions. Already now, if my memory serves me correctly, somewhere around 108 billion rubles have been allocated for these purposes," Putin said.

As for the specific date of the end of the liberation of Kursk region from the Ukrainian army, the Russian president said that at the moment the fighting is still going on in the region. In this regard, he cannot give a precise answer to this question.

"I can't and I don't want to just even call here a specific date when they will knock [the AFU] out, the guys are fighting, right now there is a battle going on," he clarified.
