Samara Region Governor Vyacheslav Fedorishchev spoke on December 19 about the debt of the soccer club Krylia Sovetov to strategic partners Rostec Capital in the amount of 1 billion rubles.

"There must have been financial assistance there, but it was not sponsorship, because the club now has a loan of 1 billion rubles in front of Rostec Capital, which is prolonged by years and is not paid.", - quotes the governor's words "Sport-Express".

According to him, the government allocates 2 billion rubles a year, but the club does not pay off this debt, which is artificially prolonged over time.

Earlier, on November 26, Fedorishchev told the Russian State Council's commission on sports development that he had learned about a debt of 36 million rubles owed by the Krylya Sovetov soccer club for bribes to referees. According to him, such a system has been in place for several years. The head of the region refused to pay this debt at the expense of funds that are aimed at the development of sports organizations.
