- Russian Interior Ministry to help Italian couple who appealed to Putin with documents

The Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) will help a married couple from Italy, who appealed to President Vladimir Putin with a request for a temporary residence permit (TRP) in the Russian Federation. This was announced by the official representative of the Russian Interior Ministry Irina Volk in her Telegram channel on December 19.
"GU VM of the Russian Interior Ministry assists a married couple from Italy in the settlement of their legal status in Russia," - wrote Volk.
It is reported that the couple from Italy Patrizia Bezeredi and Victor Bindas arrived in Russia in October this year with a tourist purpose. They decided to get a RVP, but Patricia by that time had an invalid passport, so it was impossible to accept the application from the couple.
After the failure, the couple appealed to the president of the Russian Federation with a request for a temporary residence permit in the country.
"Specialists of the migration unit will once again study all the circumstances and take measures to help the couple to draw up the necessary documents and settle their legal status in Russia," Irina Volk added.
On August 19, Vladimir Putin allowed foreigners who do not accept the moral policy of their states to apply for temporary residence in Russia. It is reported that citizens of these countries will have the right to apply for a temporary residence permit without taking into account the approved quota and the availability of a document confirming proficiency in the Russian language, knowledge of Russian history and the basics of Russian legislation.
