- Opening of winter roads postponed in Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug due to warm weather

In Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug the opening of winter roads on the Ob and Irtysh was postponed to a later date. The reason was the warm weather, due to which the ice did not grow thick enough.
According to the Department of Highways of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, the rivers will be opened after December 25. Specialists talk about the lack of ice on the Ob and Irtysh, writes IA "Ura.ru".
The first winter road in the KMAA was opened on December 1 from the highway Khanty-Mansiysk - Talinka to Belogorye. The passage was immediately allowed for vehicles weighing up to 30 tons. The total length of the road is 19.6 km.
Earlier it was reported that in the Krasnoyarsk region the first crossing was opened on December 12. It connects Dixon Island and the village of the same name.
