Eight people injured in Horlivka by AFU shelling

Eight people were injured outside a hospital in Horlivka in the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR) during shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was reported by the mayor of the city Ivan Prikhodko on December 19.

"Following the shelling of the center of Gorlovka with cluster munitions of the AFU near the city hospital No. 2, eight civilians were wounded," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

On December 16, the AFU attacked Gorlovka with Western cluster munitions and a drone. Two female residents were injured and a man was killed in the attack. The shells damaged the building of the Stirol hotel, as well as several cars. A Ukrainian drone hit a civilian car in the Komsomolets neighborhood, a civilian died of his wounds.

On December 10, the head of the DNR Denis Pushilin said that the Ukrainian militants' attempts to attack Gorlovka have no military expediency, but they still do not stop.

Ukrainian militants have been shelling Russian territory, especially its new regions, on a daily basis amid the special operation to defend Donbas, which the Russian Federation announced the start of on February 24, 2022.
