The suspect in the murder of General Kirillov has been investigated

Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov, suspected of committing a terrorist act in which the head of the Radiation, Chemical and Biological Defense (RCDBZ) troops of the Russian Armed Forces was killed, has been investigated. This was reported by a correspondent of Izvestia on December 19.

The footage shows how law enforcers brought the suspect to the site of the explosion on Ryazansky Prospekt in a car, the guards gathered at the car. Later the man was taken out in handcuffs.

The perpetrator of the terrorist attack was apprehended within 24 hours, having traced his path through calls and surveillance system

Kirillov and his assistant were killed on the morning of December 17 as a result of detonation of an explosive device, which was placed in a scooter near the entrance of an apartment building on Ryazansky Avenue in Moscow. A criminal case of murder, terrorist act and illegal arms trafficking was opened.

The next day, the FSB reported the detention of a 29-year-old citizen of Uzbekistan in the case of the murder of Kirillov and his assistant. During interrogation, the attacker said that he had been recruited by the Ukrainian security services. He could face punishment up to life imprisonment.
