The last preparations for the direct line with Russian President Vladimir Putin are being finalized in Moscow. "Izvestia" on Thursday, December 19, showed the situation near the Gostiny Dvor, where the event will take place.

The footage shows a large queue of journalists, they are screened at the entrance. This year's "Results of the Year" is forbidden to carry posters and banners of large size, as previously they blocked the broadcast picture.

"There are actually a lot of questions: they relate to transportation accessibility, <...> the centenary of Artek, which we will all celebrate next year," said one of the journalists.

She expressed hope that she would have the opportunity to ask Vladimir Putin a question.

"Traditionally, no one gives predictions, but last year's "Results of the Year with Vladimir Putin" lasted four hours and four minutes," recalled correspondent Nikolai Ivanov.

He added that the head of state had time to answer 67 questions.

In turn, presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov told Izvestia that the rating of popularity of questions from the population helped to process artificial intelligence (AI).

The Kremlin spokesman noted that citizens are most interested in the progress of the special operation. People are also interested in meeting the needs of the frontline, the heroes of the SVO themselves, who are on the front line, and their families waiting for the military at home. People are also concerned about the subsequent employment of servicemen.
