Italians use the phrase Felice Anno Nuovo. You can also add Buone feste to it, which means wishing you a good holiday season. And in Spanish, a kind and respectful greeting is ¡Feliz año nuevo! That said, according to Spanish grammar, you have to remember to put exclamation marks at the beginning and end of the sentence. Only at the beginning this sign is "upside down".
