In Zamoskvorechye a themed fir tree with urban monuments of architecture appeared

Near the exit from the subway station "Tretyakovskaya" a thematic Christmas tree decorated with toys with images of urban architectural monuments was installed. This is reported on December 19 on the official portal of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin and the government of the capital.

"The installation of a thematic New Year's tree decorated with toys with images of cultural heritage objects has already become a good tradition. In 2022 it appeared in Zamoskvorechye for the first time and was so liked by the townspeople that it was decided to install such trees annually and accompany the opening with festive festivities", - said the head of the capital's Department of Cultural Heritage Alexei Emelyanov.

Among the architectural objects, which are depicted on Christmas tree decorations, are the Memorial Apartment of poet Alexander Pushkin on Arbat, the monument to Soviet cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin on Leninsky Prospekt, the bell tower of the church in the name of St. Catherine the Great Martyr on Baumanskaya Street and many others.

It is specified that the Christmas tree near the metro station "Tretyakovskaya" was installed as part of the project "Winter in Moscow". It will delight Muscovites until mid-January 2025.

Guests and residents of the capital are invited to join in fun dances and games dedicated to the history and architecture of Moscow. In addition, the festivities will be served tea with pancakes and presents with the symbol of 2025. Children aged from six to 12 years old can take part in the event.
