On board the An-2, which disappeared in Kamchatka, an emergency landing signal was triggered

Rescuers received a signal of an emergency landing on board the An-2 missing in Kamchatka near the village of Klyuchi. This was reported on December 19 by the Minister of Emergency Situations of the Kamchatka region Sergei Lebedev.

"At 04:45 (Moscow time) received information that on board the An-2 in the available coordinates triggered an emergency landing system at an altitude of 700 meters," he wrote on his page in the social network "VKontakte".

Lebedev specified that the nearest settlement to the alleged place of disappearance is the village of Klyuchi.

At the same time, as reported to "Izvestia" in the investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in the region, the plane An-2 belongs to the airline LLC "Faeravia". According to the agency, there were 800 kilograms of commercial cargo, two crew members and one passenger on board. Two helicopters were sent to the search.

In addition, the Ministry of Emergency Situations indicated that from the village of Tilichiki rescuers of the regional search and rescue base, as well as a helicopter Mi-8 with rescuers of the search and rescue team of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in Kamchatka Krai and regional rescuers of the Regional Rescue Center.
