Musk called aid to Ukraine one of the worst decisions the U.S. has ever made

US businessman Ilon Musk has criticized the US government's decision to continue military and financial support for Ukraine. He wrote about it on his page in the social network X (former Twitter) on December 19.
"One of the worst bills in history," reads his message.
Thus the entrepreneur reacted to the post of public figure Josie Glabach, in which she criticized the US government's $60 billion aid to Ukraine.
Before that, on December 13, Musk said that Ukraine should have concluded peace long ago. Thus, the businessman commented on the information about the Russian army advancing to the city of Krasnoarmeysk (Ukrainian name - Pokrovsk) in the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR).
On December 11, Musk was outraged over the large US spending on Ukraine. The entrepreneur called the volume of US financial aid insane.
On December 10, Washington allocated $20 billion to Kiev, which is supposed to be repaid from the proceeds of frozen Russian assets. US Treasury chief Janet Yellen said that these funds would provide Ukraine with critical support.
Western countries have stepped up military and financial support for Ukraine amid Russia's special operation to protect Donbas, which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on 24 February 2022 after the situation in the region worsened due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
