Seven UAVs were reported destroyed in the Rostov region

Air defense forces destroyed seven drones over Rostov region. This was reported by Yuri Slyusar, the region's acting governor, on December 19.

"Around midnight, seven UAVs were destroyed, including six in Taganrog and one in Bataysk," he said in a message in his Telegram channel.

Slyusar specified that as a result of the attacks there were no casualties and destruction. Specialists are working on the site.

Earlier in the day, the governor of the Bryansk region Alexander Bogomaz reported the destruction of seven Ukrainian UAVs, and then - two more drones. Bogomaz specified that there were no casualties and destruction. Emergency services are working at the site.

The AFU is trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the beginning of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
