The actions of the United States and allies are a serious threat to global peace and security. A representative of the DPRK Foreign Ministry said on December 19.

"The hostile actions of the United States and its satellites are not only a simple political provocation that grossly violates the sovereignty of independent states, but also a serious threat that undermines the foundation of global peace and security," the Korean Central Telegraphic Agency(KCTAK) quoted the representative as saying.

It is also emphasized that the released statement of the G7 countries on DPRK-Russia cooperation does not reflect reality, to which Pyongyang protested.

"[Pyongyang] expresses serious concern and protest over the provocative actions of the US gangster gang and its satellites," the Foreign Ministry spokesperson emphasized.

Earlier, on November 23, the head of the press service of the DPRK Defense Ministry said that the US actions on the Korean Peninsula could lead to war with the DPRK. According to him, in order to avoid an armed clash, the U.S. should immediately stop "provocative actions."

On November 22, Kim Jong-un, chairman of the DPRK State Council, said that the Korean Peninsula has never faced such a great risk of nuclear conflict. According to him, the U.S. is expanding the military alliance system for the joint use of nuclear weapons in order to contain Pyongyang's power. The North Korean leader indicated that he had tried to mend relations with Washington, but this only confirmed the US "hostile policy".

Kim Jong-un on Nov. 18 called for full military training in the country. Speaking at a gathering of commanders and political patrols of KPA battalions, the DPRK leader condemned the US actions on the Korean Peninsula, which lead to the aggravation of the situation due to the strengthening of military power and the expansion of alliances.

Prior to that, Kim Yo-jong, deputy department director of the central committee of the Workers' Party of Korea's central committee, said on Nov. 5 that violating the parity of forces on the Korean Peninsula would lead to war. Kim Jong-un's sister recalled the record number of U.S. strategic deployments in the region recently, including the visit of a nuclear-powered aircraft carrier.
