Unemployed men suspected of stealing 3.4 million rubles from the apartment of an English tutor have been detained in Moscow. This was reported by the source of "Izvestiya" on December 18.

A 26-year-old Muscovite swapped clothes with a 48-year-old accomplice, who created the appearance of his presence elsewhere, and went to the house of a 33-year-old English tutor. According to the investigation, the man entered the apartment and stole more than 3.4 million rubles, and then fled with his friend.

A criminal case has been initiated on the fact of what happened. It is known that the 26-year-old Muscovite has already been arrested.

Earlier, on December 16, a 67-year-old Muscovite woman appealed to the police because of the fact that more than 9.6 million rubles, which were stored in American dollars and euros, were stolen from the apartment of her 93-year-old bedridden mother. The sick pensioner is cared for by four caregivers. In addition, the 38-year-old daughter of the victim knew about the stash. Law enforcers are investigating the details of the crime.
