The ranking of the popularity of questions from the population received this year for the direct line with Russian President Vladimir Putin has been greatly helped by artificial intelligence (AI). Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told Izvestia on December 18 that citizens are most interested in the progress of Russia's special military operation (SMO).

"Helped very great, artificial intelligence learns even during the program, during the selection of questions. In general, for obvious reasons, citizens are most interested in questions related to the special military operation. Further on there is already a nuanced approach. This is the course of hostilities, and the prospects for the development of the situation on the fronts," said the spokesman for the Russian leader.

People are also interested in meeting the needs of the front, the heroes of the Special Military Operation who are on the front line, and their families waiting for the military at home. People are worried about the subsequent employment of servicemen, the processing of necessary documents and other subtleties.

"Transportation infrastructure - it is clear that the country is huge. Of course, citizens want it to be new transportation, working properly, on time, everything was on schedule. Household issues, the level of economic development. All sorts of aspects related to economic development. Medicine, health care. All this is traditionally on the agenda," Peskov added.

The spokesman noted that every year Putin prepares for the direct line very responsibly and updates the entire knowledge base on all sectors of the Russian economy. Traditionally, there will be moderators at the event who have an understanding of what issues the head of state should talk about in a mandatory manner.

As Mikhail Kuznetsov, head of the People's Front executive committee, told Izvestia earlier on December 18, more than 1.6 million appeals were received from Russians on the direct line to the president. Before that, on December 16, the head of the regional executive committee of the "People's Front" in the Tomsk region, Sergei Shalyapin, noted the competent composition of operators, who "qualitatively work out questions" with the help of AI.

Earlier, on December 13, the head of the regional branch of the "People's Front" of the Republic of Crimea Alla Vertinskaya said that the call-center of the "People's Front" solves the questions of citizens coming to the headquarters before the direct line of the President ahead of schedule. Questions that can be solved today do not reach the direct line - they are sent to the regional offices to help the applicant as soon as possible, Vertinskaya emphasized.

On December 14, Putin said that he had already familiarized himself with the questions to be answered during the direct line, and noted that the country is developing, but many more issues need to be resolved.

The direct line of the head of state will be combined with a large press conference. The events will be held under the title "The results of the year with Vladimir Putin". Representatives of Western media and foreign journalists accredited in Russia have received invitations.
