Analysts have calculated the cost of decorating a Christmas tree this year

The average price for a set of Christmas tree toys is 626 rubles, which is 10% more expensive than in 2023. This was reported to "Izvestia" on December 18 by analysts of the IT-company "ATOL", who conducted a study of Christmas decorations and artificial Christmas trees on the basis of 12 million checks for 2023 and 2024.

Thus, a set of garland, star, tinsel, a set of Christmas tree balls and Christmas tree toys in 2024 on average bought for 2285 rubles, which is 7% higher than last year's figures.

"The average price for a set of Christmas tree toys is 626 rubles, which is 10% more expensive than in 2023. The median cost of a set of Christmas tree balls is 535 rubles - +7% compared to 2023," the study says.

Garlands, an important element of New Year's decor, have an average purchase check of 603 rubles (+7%), analysts said. A star is bought for an average of 413 rubles, which is 4% more than last year. Tinsel, often used for additional decoration of the Christmas tree, will cost an average of 108 rubles - +9% from 2023.

An artificial Christmas tree, however, is purchased for 4,578 rubles, which is 21% more expensive than the average purchase price in 2023, analysts said.
