In St. Petersburg detained who left an infant in a shopping center


Law enforcement authorities detained a 35-year-old resident of St. Petersburg, who left an infant in a shopping center (RC) and ran away. This was reported on December 18 by the press service of the Main Department (GU) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the city and the Leningrad region.
It is specified that near the boy was found a note in which the mother asked to take care of him.
"Police officers handed the child to the medics and soon detained and brought to the police station for proceedings his mother, a 35-year-old St. Petersburg woman", - stated in the message of the department.
The woman said she had doubts about the proper care of her child and feared she might harm him.
"I thought I had to hand him over to the hospital, and just like that, well, I can't hand him over, so I left him in a crowded place, waited for the ambulance to pick him up," the detainee said.
The baby was found in a stroller in a shopping center in St. Petersburg the same day. The mother left her child unattended and left the building. The baby was sent to a medical institution for examination.
The father of the child in a conversation with Izvestia said that he did not know that his wife had abandoned the baby. A man named Andrei suggested that the spouse is in a difficult moral state.
