"I want to tell about such people to contemporaries, that the true heroes - in reality it is not fictional heroes with some fictional physical abilities, but these are simple people who have two hands, two legs, there is willpower, there is not indifference," - said actor Igor Petrenko.

It is noted that "Gang "ZIG ZAG" is based on little-known historical materials about the current subversive group. However, REN TV, the creators of the series, sought to rely not only on facts, but also on memories. The main focus of the film is on those who defended law and order in Leningrad in 1944.
