Man injured in AFU drone attack on Belgorod region

In the Shebekinsky district of Belgorod Region, drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) attacked two settlements, a person was injured as a result of the strikes. This was reported by the governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov on December 18.

"In the village of Murom a drone struck a moving car. A man was injured," - said the head of the region in a message in his Telegram-channel.

It is specified that the victim was hospitalized in a medical facility with closed craniocerebral trauma, barotrauma and shrapnel wound to the head. Gladkov also noted that the car was damaged.

In addition, in the village of Novaya Tavolzhanka, the roof of a private house was damaged as a result of an FPV drone impact.

The Governor added that information about the consequences is being clarified.

Earlier, on December 16, Gladkov reported that an AFU FPV drone attacked a moving truck in Belgorod region near the village of Borki in Valuisky district, a civilian was wounded.

The AFU is trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
