The Ministry of Defense named the Russian regions within range of ATACMS


Russia's regions within the range of Western long-range missiles have been named. The corresponding information was presented by the Russian Defence Ministry on 18 December at a briefing of the chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces (AFU), Valeriy Gerasimov, for foreign military attaches.
Among the regions within range of weapons supplied to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) by Western countries are: Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics (DNR and LNR), Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, the Republic of Crimea, Krasnodar Krai and Volgograd region.
The slide of the Ministry of Defense also included the regions of the Central Federal District: Bryansk, Orel, Kursk, Belgorod and Voronezh regions.
It is specified that some regions of the North Caucasus, Southern and Volga federal districts are in the range of the Tekever AR3 drone.
Earlier, on December 16, Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov said that Russian air defense forces (ADF) have shot down about 215 U.S. ATACMS missiles of the Ukrainian army this year. He noted that in general, the air defense means during the special operation showed high efficiency.
