Rostov region reported the repulsion of a missile attack on the region

The air defense forces have repelled a missile attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on Rostov Region. This was reported on December 18 by Yuri Slyusar, the region's acting governor.

"Three out of four missiles were shot down in the Kamensk area, one hit a farm building," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

Slyusar specified that there were no casualties as a result of the Ukrainian attack.

On the same day it was reported that air defense forces destroyed four Ukrainian UAVs over three regions of the Russian Federation last night. Two drones were eliminated over the territory of the Belgorod region and one UAV each over the Bryansk and Kursk regions.

The AFU is trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
