In St. Petersburg, an inspection is being conducted due to the discovery of an infant in a shopping center (RC). This was reported on December 18 by Yulia Kolnikova, senior assistant to the head of the SSI of the Investigation Committee of Russia in St. Petersburg.
"The investigation is conducting verification activities, the circumstances of the incident and the identity of the mother of the child left unattended are being established. According to the results of the check will be made a procedural decision," - stated Kolnikova.
It is reported that in the shopping center of Nevsky district in a stroller on one of the floors was found an infant. The child's mother left him unattended and left the building of the shopping center. The child was sent to a medical institution for examination.
On this fact, the investigative department is conducting a check under article 125 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Abandonment in danger").
Earlier, this summer, in Tula, parents left a child in a stroller in the parking lot of a residential complex (LCD). It is known that local residents published a post in social networks with footage of an unattended young child left in a stroller.
