Media reported the seizure of $3.4 million from blogger Tate for failing to pay taxes

A British court has ordered the seizure of $3.4 million from blogger and former kickboxer Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan for non-payment of taxes. This was reported by Reuters on December 18.
It is noted that the Tates did not pay taxes on income from online business from 2014 to 2022.
"All financial actions of Andrew and Tristan Tate are consistent with deliberate tax evasion and money laundering," - the publication reports the words of the London judge Paul Goldspring.
The blogger, in turn, called the actions of the court "a coordinated attack on anyone who dares to challenge the system."
Earlier, on August 21, Romanian police searched Andrew Tate's home as part of an investigation into human trafficking and money laundering. In July, a Romanian appeals court overturned its previous ruling that allowed Tate to move freely within the European Union (EU) while awaiting trial on similar charges.
Tate and his brother had already been detained on similar charges in late 2022, and in mid-2023 he, his brother Tristan and two Romanian women had already been charged with human trafficking, rape and forming a criminal gang for the purpose of sexually exploiting women. The brothers deny all charges.
