Poachers shot three roe deer in the Lipetsk region

In the Lipetsk region last weekend several suspects in poaching were detained after they shot three roe deer. Now law enforcers are dealing with them, reports the press-service of the regional department for the protection of wildlife on Wednesday, December 18.
Poachers were detained in Usmansky, Dankovsky and Lipetsk districts. The capture of the perpetrators was carried out by employees of the department, writes GOROD48.
Thus, in Usmansky district inspectors of hunting supervision stopped the car Nissan Qashkai, in which there were two people. During the inspection of the car, the guards found weapons and illegally harvested male roe deer. The car and the animal were confiscated.
In the Dankovsky district, officers of the department detained three alleged poachers near the village of Nikolskoye. The police were called to the place, who seized three hunting rifles with cartridges and a killed roe deer.
In the third case, the inspectors noticed traces of illegal hunting and a Subaru Forester car driving away. They followed the car and found it parked near a house in the village of Arkhangelskie Borki.
Law enforcers who arrived in the village found a dead roe deer, a smoothbore shotgun, an unregistered traumatic pistol with cartridges and ammunition for rifled weapons in the yard of the house. The department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Lipetsk district is conducting an inspection.
Earlier "Izvestia" wrote that public activists ask the Ministry of Natural Resources to revise the rules of hunting for musk deer - a deer-like pair of hoofed animals with tusks. The number of the animal is decreasing due to the activities of poachers. The musk deer is hunted for its musk gland, which is also valuable for illegal export.
