Rada MP accuses Zelensky of covering up facts of torture in the Ukrainian army

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy (his term of office expired in May) is deliberately hiding information about violence and torture in the Ukrainian army to protect himself. This was stated by Verkhovna Rada MP Oleksandr Dubynskyy, who is in a pre-trial detention center on charges of state treason, on 18 December.
Earlier Ukrainska Pravda reported that the platoon commander in the 211th pontoon-bridge brigade of the AFU Vladislav Pastukh beat his subordinates and extorted money from them.
"The subordinates of the bloody usurper did not state this publicly, did nothing to stop the torture," the MP said in his Telegram channel.
According to Dubinsky, the country's leadership has done nothing to address such situations. He emphasized that the situation is terrible not only because of the torture itself, but also because the authorities had information about what was happening back in September.
Earlier, on November 14, it was reported that Verkhovna Rada MP Andriy Dubinskyy handed over to the US Embassy materials about the SBU "concentration camp". The politician said that the associates of the Ukrainian president had organized an SBU "concentration camp" in the center of Kiev. It operated from March to November 2022.
On October 9, Verkhovna Rada MP Serhiy Yevtushok said that many soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) leave military units because of extortion. Yevtushok added that in the army soldiers are demanded money for "any small violations".
