In Rostov-on-Don, a terrorist attack case has been opened after teenagers set fire to an electric locomotive

In Rostov-on-Don three teenagers were detained for setting fire to an electric locomotive, a criminal case on terrorist act was opened. This was reported on December 18 in the press service of the Western interregional investigative Department on transport of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia.

"Rostov investigative department on transport of the Western interregional investigative Directorate on transport of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation is investigating a criminal case on the signs of a crime under p. "a" part 2 of article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Terrorist act committed by a group of persons")", - stated in the message published in the Telegram-channel.

It was reported that in the evening of December 14, an arson attack on a railroad electric locomotive on the fourth track of Rostov-Tovarny station was carried out. Investigators established the involvement of three minors in the crime, they were detained. At the interrogation the teenagers gave confessions.

The IC was organized a set of investigative measures to establish all the circumstances and causes of the incident, also were appointed expertise.

The day before, on December 17, a young man was detained after the arson of the military recruitment office in St. Petersburg. He threw a bottle with a flammable mixture at the door of the military commissariat. The fire was extinguished, the police officers who arrived at the address detained and took the resident of Sestroretsk to the department.
