In the U.S., a hunter died after a shot bear fell on him from a tree

In Lunenberg County in the United States, a resident of Virginia died after a bear shot by one of his hunting partners fell on him from a tree. This was reported on December 17 by the Associated Press agency with reference to representatives of the state wildlife authorities.

It is noted that the incident occurred on December 9. A group of hunters were chasing a bear when it climbed a tree. When people began to move away from the tree, one of the hunters shot the predator, which fell on another hunter.

The man was given first aid, then taken to hospital where he died of his injuries a few days later.

In May, a small blind dog was mistakenly shot and killed by a police officer in the US. Teddy, a dog weighing just over 5 kilograms, a Shih Tzu mix, reportedly got lost and wandered into someone's yard. There, the dog was given a drink and the police were called to find the animal's owner. However, police officer Myron Woodson shot him instead. The pet's owner Nick Hunter was perplexed when he learned about the incident.
