In Moscow, employees of the Federal Customs Service (FCS) of the Russian Federation detained a foreign student for organizing a channel for smuggling military products to China. This was reported in the press service of the agency on December 18.

"During the search of the room, more than 100 items of Russian and Soviet-made military items were found: body armor, armor plates from the BR2 and BR4 body armor, armor plates, protective screens for body armor," - noted in the Telegram-channel.

In addition, bullet casings and objects resembling an anti-tank grenade launcher were found.

It is also noted that the suspect studies in the capital's university at the faculty of aircraft construction and lives in a dormitory.

Two criminal cases on smuggling of military equipment have been opened. The foreigner was chosen a measure of restraint in the form of a signature on non-departure. The investigation continues.

Earlier, December 17, in Vladivostok, the FCS stopped an attempt to export 12 paws of the Himalayan bear to the DPRK. It is reported that the DPRK citizen passed through the "green corridor," but during the inspection of his luggage, inspectors found a box wrapped in black film, inside which there were thermopacks with frozen paws of the predator.
